Did you know that a lot can be said about your health, depending on your zodiac? Well, now you do! Here’s a breakdown of the common health problems different zodiacs are likely to face and how to take better care of these.
1. Aries (March 21 to April 19)
Affected Areas: Head and Brain
Your energetic, always raring-to-go attitude means you think a lot—planning the next step, strategizing and so on—that leaves you stressed at most times. If things don’t go according to plan, you are easily angered and agitated; leading to more stress on your brain. This causes frequent headaches and grinding of teeth, a.k.a., bruxism, which, in turn leads to dental problems.
Prevention/Cure: Popping pills to get rid of that headache is easy; but ridding yourself of the accompanying drowsiness isn’t. Drink a cup of rosemary, or ginger tea, instead.. Alternately, you could inhale a few drops of peppermint or lavender oil, if tea isn’t your thing. Monitor your diet for food that can increase the frequency and severity of a headache—chocolate, peanut butter, banana, avocado, onions, bacon, fermented food and red wine. For bruxism, you need to train yourself not to clench your jaw during the day by placing your tongue between your teeth. Plus, remove caffeine and alcohol from your diet as these are known to hype your mental state.
2. Taurus (April 20 to May 20)
Affected areas: Throat, Insulin Production, Lower Jaws
Even the strongest of your breed is prone to catching the flu more often than others. The weaker ones are immune to throat infections, earaches, tonsillitis, thyroid problem and stiff neck. This will happen especially when you are tensed about something or are being downright stubborn; it’s true.
Prevention/Cure: The best way to keep most of these ailments at bay is to have a stronger immune system. Basic things to do are cutting down on smoking, eating foods that are high on fruits, vegetables and whole grain, and cutting down on intake of fat. Studies at the American College of Rheumatology show that putting excessive stress on a muscle or joint can tear and inflame the tendon. Prepare a healthy workout regime for yourself and keep yourself well-clad in places where temperatures drop and the cold is damp. Maintain a regular intake of calcium in the form of foods as well as supplements.
4. Cancer (June 21 to July 22)

You being highly intuitive and emotional have a deep connect with your stomach and digestive system; but, of course you didn’t know that. So your angry outbursts, when combined with the influence of the moon, lead to indigestion, intestinal ailments and acid refluxes.
Prevention/Cure: Have some candied ginger toffee or a slice of ginger after your meals. If you’re a tea-lover, pour yourself a cup of camomile, or peppermint tea; a lime soda and a flat fizz drink works well when you feel uneasy or squeamish in your stomach. Since you have a perpetual problem with your digestive system, always make it a point to eat right.
5. Leo (July 23 to August 22)
Affected Areas: Heart and Blood
It’s that life- pumping organ of yours that controls you and the blood running through your veins that fuels your impulses. These are also the two things that make you weak, both emotionally and physically. Heart problems, lethargy, and back problems are no strangers to you.
Prevention/Cure: Simply put, you’ve got to take good care of your heart. A healthy diet and adequate physical activity is crucial to the condition of your heart.
